Rebecca te Velde, Organist

Becky has served FPC Stillwater as organist since 1991 and director of music since 2014. She is an active performer, composer, clinician, teacher, and editor for Oxford Hymn Settings for Organists. Organ, composition and church music studies were at Seattle Pacific University with her father, Lester H. Groom, and University of Western Ontario with Hugh J. McLean. Post-graduate study followed with Michael Schneider and Almut Rössler in Germany, Flor Peeters in Belgium, and Gerald Frank in Stillwater. Becky has taught music appreciation at OSU and organ at Oklahoma City University. With husband John, she has two children and three grandchildren.
